DVD: Growing Up Social

This DVD looks at how social thinking supports the development of social skills from the first year of life, influencing language development and academic success, as well as skills for adult living. Social thinking concepts and strategies are introduced to support your (and/or your staff's) teaching across the home and school day, including an exploration of how we organize our communicative interactions and utilize active perspective-taking throughout each day. Intended as supported for treating, teaching and learning about students from preschool through 12th grade, this DVD is not viewed by students directly. Rather, the concepts are taken back to the classroom, therapy room and even the home to assist in your (and/or your staff's) instruction.
